Read this text about Gustavo Cerati:
Gustavo Cerati was a singer,songwriter and producer. He was born on August 11th, 1959 in Buenos Aires, Argentina He started playing the guitar when he was in
elementary school . After high school, he studied marketing
but he didn’t like it so he decided to invest his life in music and started writing lyrics.
In 1982, he formed Soda
Stereo with his friends Hector Bossio and Charly Aliberti .
In the band , Gustavo was the singer and played the guitar , Héctor played the
bass and Charly played the drums.
In 1984, they signed a contract
with CBS and recorded a debut album with the name of the band “ Soda
Stereo “. They used their lyrics to criticize consumerism and the military
dictatorship. Soda Stereo became the first rock band which achieved massive
success singing in Spanish. Their song «De música ligera» ( From light music) is
considered till now one of the best rock songs in the Spanish
language.

outstanding musical career:
